All interconnection applications at the distribution or transmission level will now be applying into a “cluster application” process (GIP) as the default procedure. In addition projects that applied under the old CAISO SGIP or PG&E/SCE WDAT rules will be placed in a transition cluster unless they are well advanced in the interconnection process.
